This project is a mixed-use highrise in the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco . CMC designed and implemented a lane shift on Fremont St on this project that allowed Level 10 to place concrete during peak commute times, while maintaining the capacity of the roadway. CMC is designing the traffic control, furnishing the changeable message boards, and providing flagging services for this fast-tracked project in San Francisco to add a seperated bicycle lane on the southern two blocks of Polk St near City Hall.

CMC will once again perform the traffic control on this next phase of the Market St paving project. This project to re-pave San Francisco's main boulevard, Market St, at the major intersections between 6th and 10th St involves coordination of several public agencies and contractors. CMC is responsible for closure of the street, detour signage, and flagging operations. We will assist with the coordination of 10 to 15 off-duty San Francisco police officers and SFMTA parking control officers. The project involves re-routing of several major MUNI bus line, bus stop relocations, and de-energizing of the overhead catenary system.

Client: Alta Bike-Share / Bay Area Air Quality Management District
The Bay Area Bike Share system is scheduled to launch in August 2013. The system will provide access to shared bicycles 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for use in the cities of San Francisco, Redwood City, Palo Alto, Mountain View and San Jose. CMC Traffic Control Specialists will be providing traffic control services to Alta Bike Share as they install the bicycle kiosks in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Menlo Park, and Redwood City. CMC will also be supplying and installing safety devices, including channelizers and wheel stops.

This emergency project to re-pave San Francisco's main boulevard, Market St, from 4th St to 6th St involved coordination of several public agencies and contractors. The project required weeks of planning and the road was closed on a Friday night at 7pm, after the rush hour commute. CMC was responsible for closure of the street, detour signage, and flagging operations. We assisted with the coordination of 10 to 15 off-duty San Francisco police officers and SFMTA parking control officers. The project involved re-routing of several major MUNI bus line, bus stop relocations, and de-energizing of the overhead catenary system. The paving was completed ahead of schedule allowing the road to be re-opened and normal MUNI operations to resume early Saturday morning.
