President

Crystal Miks has 16 years experience in project management for urban in-fill projects. Prior to founding CMC Traffic Control Specialists in 2002, Ms. Miks served as a project manager for a large general contractor in San Francisco.

Ms. Miks is currently President of CMC Traffic Control Specialists, Inc.  In addition to being a licensed civil engineer in the state of California, Ms. Miks received her M.S. Civil Engineering, Construction Management Emphasis from San Jose State University and her B.S. Civil Engineering from San Jose State University.

Vice President

Phil Mieszkowski is a construction and engineering professional with nearly 15 years of experience in the heavy civil construction and engineering industry holding positions in the capacity of construction and engineering manager at various projects in Northern California and the Eastern United States.  Mr. Mieszkowski is a registered civil and traffic engineer in the state of California, an ATSSA-trained traffic control supervisor and received his M.S. in Construction Management from Stanford University and his B.S. in materials science and engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Traffic Engineer and Dispatch

Derek Doan is a licensed Civil Engineer. He graduated in December of 2012 from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and has also received his M.S. from Berkeley, specializing in Transportation.

Superintendant / Traffic Supervisor

With 25 years of experience in the public works construction industry in the San Francisco bay area, Paul Mikaelsen is responsible for CMC's field operations.  He is an ATSSA-certified Traffic Control Supervisor and has received OSHA 30 hour training and first aid training.

Office Manager

Sue Murdock has 27 years as an office manager overseeing AP, AR, Payroll, Purchasing/Cost Control, Equipment/DMV Paperwork, Contracts, Extra Work Billings, Insurance.  She is also a notary public.

Engineer-In-Training

Ramon Cabral has nearly 5 years of experience in traffic control design, as well as an engineering degree from San Francisco State University.
